Mrs. Sedensky earned a Bachelor of Art Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Speech Communication from Monmouth College, in Monmouth IL. She has received an Early Education Degree and Office for Children Certified Teacher and Director from Lasell College in Newton, Massachusetts. Also, she has a professional certification in both Early and Elementary Education. Mrs. Sedensky continued her education for Graduate studies at Wheelock College and Framingham State College in Massachusetts and taught at Lasell College as a Per diem Professor and Lead teacher in their Child Study Program: trained student teachers, designed behavior programs and taught Early Childhood Education college courses. In addition, she earned a Certificate in Theology, “Called to Leadership Program” from St. Anselm College in New Hampshire. This was a three year program studying Scripture, Leadership and Canon Law. Currently, she is in the Graduate Program at Creighton University for Catholic School Educational Leadership Program. As a teacher : " I believe we should teach to the individual's need of each student. We should provide hands‐on activities, critical thinkers and help them become the best version of themselves that God created"
